Special thanks to Allen & Janet for selling my flat at Telok Blangah. My mid floor 5room has been advertised since 2016 by several property agents from different companies. However it remained unsold until December 2016 when I started working with Allen & Janet.  
 

The sale of my flat was a very challenging one due to its 42 years old age, short balance lease and competition from other units on higher floor also selling at the same time. Although sceptical, I decided to meet them to discuss how I can have it sold. 

The moment I met them I knew they know how to go about selling this difficult product. My family and I decided to take the plunge and appointed them as our exclusive agents right away and put a stop to the multiple agents method. And we have no regrets thereafter. 

 

The price they achieved for my flat already speaks volume about their capability – as you can see, another unit on much higher floor (17th) sold at $630k around the same time as my mid floor (9th) BUT mine was sold at $645k!  A mid floor unit price surpassed a high floor unit, that’s pretty impressive to me.

Their service did not stop after the sale of my flat as they continued to help me with my next move; to upgrade to a condominium. Allen & Janet made my buying process fuss free and ensure that I focused on qualified units instead of wasting time on unsuitable ones. They also took the efforts to guide me with the pros and cons and investment potential of the projects I shortlisted and that made it easy for me to make an informed decision of my choice unit.  They negotiated the price to make sure I pay a fair price and to keep it within my budget.

Fast forward, they had gone above their duties in my selling and buying. They were always available whenever I needed help and were always there to pick up my calls even late at night for advice. I still remember I was away from Singapore a couple of times whenever important issues arise and they always managed to get them fixed while I continued my trip. There was once when they're away but that did not stop them from troubleshooting a very crucial part of my buying. Now that's what I called GOOD SERVICE!

Another point I must bring up is, without their planning on my selling and buying timeline, I would have incurred the heavy ABSD stamp duty.  They took the effort to negotiate with the sellers and synchronized my timeline with the buyers in order to make the ABSD waiver possible. Without their dedication, I wouldn’t have saved$202,000!!

Now that I'm living in my new house, looking at the current market, I had bought it at below value, thanks to them.
